# How to upload a file?

To upload a file on StorX, click on the "Upload File" icon and select the file that you want to upload. You can also upload files by dragging and dropping them from the selection wizard onto the StorX dashboard. StorX also allows you to select and upload multiple files at once. Instead of uploading one file at a time, you can upload entire folders by dragging them onto the dashboard.
